Sam is a data professional based in NYC. She’s worked in various data roles in healthcare data, open source data infrastructure, and B2C services. Sam holds a PhD in Semantic Web from the University of Manchester.
She is not just a technology expert herself, but contributes to inspiring other women to excel in technology careers too! She has run and contributed to many women-centered tech groups, like "Manchester Girl Geeks","Women Who Code NYC" and "PyLadies" whose basic idea and concept is about getting strong women coders together on a platform!
Sam is also the founder of “Third Place”, a non-alcoholic bar event series in Brooklyn.
