Molly is a composer, saxophonist, and software engineer in Chicago. In addition to developing GraphQL APIs and data pipelines for Spantree Technology Group, LLC, she composes multimedia electroacoustic pieces influenced by her experiences with jazz, new music, Balkan brass bands, and field recording.
Molly's work originates in a place of playfulness, listening, and attention. As a Composer in Residence at the University of Toronto, Molly has tackled challenges of scratch-training generative neural networks for use in compositions and is passionate about making machine learning tools accessible to artists and composers.
