David Lavezzo is a Distinguished Engineer for Capital One, working on problems ranging from Endpoint protection to detection gap hunting. In a semi-previous life he eschewed technology and instead spent his youth playing european-style black metal in various parts of the US, and even Europe. While fun, he realized he didn’t enjoy travel and switched to recording engineering and live webcasting of musical groups in the Bay Area.
These days he pivoted from validating the capabilities of new vendor products in a cyber test kitchen to measuring, observing, and validating capabilities across a wide range of platforms, current and new.
