Lots of people roll their eyes and snort when they hear the term "Serverless." Even once they get to the point of understanding that Serverless advocates don't really deny the existence of servers, it still doesn't make sense. Objections arise: Why retrofit what we have to fit this paradigm? Why change? My answer to both of these questions is easy -- DON'T! Serverless isn't about your current business cases, it's about the 1,000 business ideas that haven't been thought of yet. We'll take a look at the foundations of sound software businesses and see how Serverless changes the game.
