Vanessa Spock, Director of Business Operations for Ericsson, has over 15 years of extensive experience working globally for different types of companies, holding senior positions in Sales, Account Management, Sales/Pre-Sales Operations as well as technology-facing roles like Technical Training & Writing, Project Management and Systems Integration. She has worked with companies such as: CNN, Fox International, Turner, National Geographic, Scottish Parliament, Vodafone, BBC, Microsoft, Sky to name a few. In her current role, Vanessa focuses on helping Management, Sales and Pre-sales Technologists succeed in generating revenue and long-term, sustainable growth.
Originally, she obtained a technical-based degree in Experimental Physics and Pure Mathematics, then Vanessa branched off into “the dark side” to work in management and business, and found a sweet spot working with - and often interfacing between - commercial and technical teams. Having dealt with many complex, frustrating, global and challenging technology projects / sales deals, she tries to draw on her successes and failures to help others solve problems and generate success!
