Jill Wetzler is the Director of Engineering Leadership Development at Lyft, where she helps managers and individual contributors in the Tech org uplevel their skills and become more effective and inclusive leaders. Prior to this role, she spent three years building Lyft’s Infrastructure Engineering org from the ground up. Her teams built the infrastructure necessary to scale some of Lyft’s most critical services and keep engineers shipping code. She’s a founding member of Uplyft Tech and Lyft’s Tech Diversity Working Group, both of which serve to execute on initiatives that increase representation and development opportunities for under-indexed and underestimated employees.
Prior to Lyft, Jill has led teams of engineers and data scientists at a notable social media company, and she’s also been a manager and lead engineer at salesforce.com. Jill holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
