There’s an overwhelming amount of information on decision making. Some historical applications are now being shown to be out-of-date by the latest research in cognitive neuroscience. It’s difficult to keep up with all the new information that can help us address the complex issues we face every day. Having devoted more than ten years to researching the fast-moving fields that almost daily reveal new strategies, Linda shares what she has uncovered—some of it surprising, some even counterintuitive. She summarizes the research and provides concrete tips for improving your individual, team, and organizational abilities. We struggle with a host of cognitive biases that get in the way of the best decisions and need to take action to counter them effectively. Linda offers practical ways to address these biases and help us become a little more rational.
